SOS-21 (S.O.S. for the 21st century) is a free ethic on-line role game to teach the citizens of the 21st century its rights and duties facing the challenge of sustainable development

SOS-21 is an ethic on-line role playing game, free, massively multiplayer, which allows to sensitize all members of the families (children, parents & grand-parents) to the 3 dimensions of sustainable development (social, economic, environmental) through usual daily acts.

The player chooses an avatar and makes him experience different on-line scenes of the daily life, the logistics and technical challenges related to the attitude are clearly represented.. Then, each player is placed in situation at home, or nearby his closest environment, to act in conscience, personally or though virtual ethnic tribes, and to compare its personal actions to those of the same community on special criteria and on a scale of numerous other users… (creation of a communities of family gamers, respectful of sustainable development, tools of on-line learning…).

The serious game SOS-21 helps to upgrade the skills of the participants to a better cognitive degree of engagement and then helps to modify their reactions and behaviour in real life.

For the local authority, it’s a project of public utility which permits to communicate locally on the topic of sustainable development and its appliances on its territory, to raise the  inhabitants’awareness  and to propose an alternative of engagement to certain behaviour.

For the enterprise, it’s a performing pedagogical tool adapted to disseminate at all levels of the organization, the strategic engagements related to the sustainable development, to optimize the realization of the best practices and to make upgrading, with methodical of the SOS-21 team, an individual and a collective responsible behaviour.
